As the firebug website states, Firebug extension for Firefox is web development evolved! I could not agree more. If you do web development and any Ajax based solutions, you are working all wrong.

Firebug integrates with Firefox to put a wealth of development tools at your fingertips while you browse. You can edit, debug, and monitor CSS, HTML, and JavaScript live in any web page.

It is the first extension any real web developer should install in Firefox. Nothing compares regardless of price. Don’t think you will see this kind of skillz in an IE add on. Just ain’t going to happen.

Go catch this bug now.

Thought I would add to this Joe Hewitt (Firebugs creator) video of him showing the incredible features of Firebug 1.0.

Thanks to Dion over at Ajaxian for posting this video. It should be noted that it is 48 minutes long, but some really great stuff from an incredible developer. Once you get bit by the bug there is nothing else!
