I fondly remember Mr. Wizard shows as a kid and was very sad to hear that Don Herbert (THE Mr. Wizard) had passed away due to cancer. His shows were probably the beginning of my Geekness being fostered and nurtured. He made science awesome. Looking back at the shows now are dated in the level of the kids in the series, but the science is still great science and he had a great interaction and patience and wonder with the kids in each set.

Check out the Mr. Wizard Studios to get the shows (1951 - 1965) or (80’s & 90’s) on DVD now.

Thank you Mr. Wizard! You will be missed.

(And no Bill Nye the science guy is nice and all, but he is not a Mr. Wizard!!!!)
