Life Notes

First and foremost I am a very proud dad. My daughter is truly the most important thing in my life and cherish watching her grow up everyday she is with me. I believe it is very true that through children’s eyes we can see the wonders of nature and the amazement of our world, if we just take the time to stop and look. Most (sadly, not all anymore) kids have this ability and gradually lose it in our world. The more we nurture this hopefully the longer it lasts.

Why do kids look at so many things with amazement, because our world is amazing. How often do you stop to notice the blue bird chirping on the branch? See the true beauty of a flower and the bee in it. That the clouds look extra fluffy today, like some cotton candy.

In recent past I have had to look at my life and what it means to me. We all have our trials, our problems, our heartaches, our moments, our joys, those revelations, heck, just life. I personally know that can always be worse (99% of the time), even when you hit what you think is the bottom. The cup could be full or empty, all a matter of perspective. I know I live in a great country, that seems a little confused lately. I am still thankful for the liberty to live and work in the states. It takes on to be thankful for the things we have and where you are; for even what seems bad, tomorrow could be worse. Be thankful and rejoice in what you have and those you love. Life is all too short to miss out on it.
